Il Comune di Cismon del Grappa ha ottenuto il finanziamento per il progetto denominato “Istituzione della Ferrovia turistica della Val Brenta – Tratta Primolano–Bassano”, redatto dalla nostra associazione a titolo gratuito e che comprende il restauro della Rimessa Locomotive di Primolano, il rifacimento ex-novo di parte del piano del ferro e il ripristino funzionale della locomotiva a vapore 880 001 e alcuni rotabili trainati.
Il Comune di Cismon del Grappa e SVF hanno già siglato, nel giugno 2011, un accordo per la gestione dell’area della RL di Primolano e per la creazione del treno storico, di cui fanno parte rotabili di proprietà dell’associazione e in via di acquisizione.
Al progetto principale del Comune di Cismon del Grappa è collegato un secondo progetto del Comune di Valstagna per la realizzazione di un breve tratto della pista ciclabile mancante della pista ciclabile Bassano del Grappa–Trento, nell’ambito del progetto principale che comprende l’integrazione del trasporto turistico treno+bici.

Cismon del Grappa municipality obtained the founding of the “Istituzione della Ferrovia turistica della Val Brenta – Tratta Primolano–Bassano” project (creation of the touristic Val Brenta Railroad”), created by our association free of charge. The project includes the restoration of Primolano Locomotive Shed, the complete rebuilt of the tracks and the overhauling of engine 880 001 with some rolling stock. train that will include rolling stock already belonging to our association and rolling stock we are acquiring.
A second project by the Valstagna municipality is linked to the Cismon del Grappa main one, and this is the project of the last stretch of bicycle lane required to complete the Bassano del Grappa-Trento route within a global railway-cycle integration for touristic purposes.

 Campo San Martino 6 maggio 2012 – Con l’applicazione dei numeri su entrambe i panconi e la verniciatura del cielo della cabina, oggi sono finiti i lavori sulla 835 291 iniziati l’anno scorso a cura dei volontari dell’associazione Società Veneta Ferrovie.

Campo San Martino May 6th 2012 – Today the restoration work on engine 835 291 ended with the completion of the numbers on both ends and the painting of the inner roof of the cab. The work started the previous year and was performed by SVF volunteers.

Si è concluso il 28 aprile il trasporto degli scambi e dei segnali dalla ex Mostra Verona Porta Vescovo a Primolano: con il supporto della ditta Busato di Cittadella è stato trasportato uno scambio destra di costruzione austriaca con relative traversine in metallo, gli ultimi quattro pezzi dello scambio inglese (sempre di costruzione austriaca) trasportato il 27 dicembre scorso e il segnale di avviso austriaco a vela rettangolare. Tutto il materiale venne portato da San Candido (stazione di confine tra le amministrazioni FS e ÖBB dal 1918) a Verona agli inizi degli anni ’90 del secolo scorso. Il lavoro di preparazione per questo ultimo trasporto è avvenuto lo scorso 25 aprile grazie ad una squadra di volontari dell’associazione. In una sorta di catarsi ferroviaria questo materiale ora è giunto a Primolano, una delle stazioni di confine tra Regno d’Italia e Impero Austroungarico fino al 1918. Ringraziamo Claudio e Laerte, che hanno creato e mantenuto la Mostra Ferroviaria di Verona Porta Vescovo per quasi vent’anni, per il supporto che hanno dato a SVF nel recupero di questo importante materiale ferroviario che servirà alla realizzazione del Museo Ferroviario Vivo della Val Brenta e della Valsugana.
The move of switches and signals from the former Verona Porta Vescovo railway museum to the Promolano locomotive shed yard is completed. With the help of the Cittadella firm "Busato" a right switch built in Austria with its metal sleepers, the remaining parts of the double switch (this one made in Austria too) and an Austrian type, square board distant signal were carried to the locomotive shed yard on December 27 th. All the items was removed from San Candido/Innichen station (border station between FS and ÖBB since 1918) and brought to Verona in the nineties of the twentieth century. The items were readied for the transport last April 25th by a team of SVF volunteers. In a sort of railway catharsis now these itema are in a station that was on the border between Italian Kingdom and Austrian Empire until 1918. We wish to thank Claudio and Laerte, who created and maintained the Verona Porta Vescovo railway museum for almost twenty years, for the help and support that they gave to SVF to recover this important railway stuff that will be used to create the Live Railway Museum of Val Brenta and Valsugana.

Il 27 dicembre i soci dell’Associazione, assieme alla ditta Autotrasporti Zilio di Padova, hanno provveduto al trasporto da Verona alla R.L. di Primolano di alcune infrastrutture ferroviarie.
Sotto ad un tiepido sole d’inverno, nell’area dell’ex-Mostra Ferroviaria di Verona Porta Vescovo, sono stati caricati un deviatoio doppio (di costruzione austriaca ante Grande Guerra e proveniente originariamente dalla stazione di San Candido/Innichen), un segnale ad ala semaforica di avviso FS, di un paraurti per tronchino e di altro materiale minore.
Prossimamente avverrà anche il trasferimento di un secondo deviatoio, semplice, sempre di costruzione austriaca.
I due deviatoi sono stati preventivamente smontati a titolo gratuito dalla ditta Mazzi di Verona, mentre i soci SVF hanno condizionato le rotaie e le traversine per il trasporto.
Nel pomeriggio il camion ha raggiunto Primolano e, nel profondo buio della vallata e sopra un leggero strato di nevischio è stato scaricato tutto il materiale all’interno dell’area della Rimessa Locomotive.

On December 27th SVF fellows and Padua “Autotrasporti Zilio” trucking company move some rail infrastructure items from Verona to the Primolano locomotive shed.
The items moved are from Verona Porta Vescovo were: a double switch, built in Austria before WW I and formerly installed in San Candido/Innichen station, a semaphore (FS type distant signal), a buffer stop and other lesser items.
A second single switch, again built in Austria, will reach Primolano with the next move.
Both switches were dismantled free of charge from Verona "Mazzi" firm while SVF fellows readied rails and sleepers for the transportation.
The truck reached Primolano locomotive shed yard in the afternoon and was unloaded in the pitch black night of the valley with the ground covered with sleet.

Il 20 novembre la 835 291 di Campo San Martino ha ricevuto ulteriori ritocchi di nero e il bianco sui cerchioni. Ormai il lavoro è quasi finito, manca solo il rosso sulle bielle, il giallo nella cabina e i numeri sul pancone.

On November 20th engine 835 291 in Campo San Martino further finishing touch to the black livery and the white strip on the wheel rims (the so called "socks© in Italian railway jargon). What is left to do is the red in the rods and, coat of yellow in the cab interior and the numbering on the front of the frame.

SVF al mercatino di Natale “Villaggio delle Meraviglie” di Pergine che si tiene nei fine settimana dall’8 novembre all’8 gennaio 2012. L’associazione è presente con un proprio stand espositivo alla seconda edizione dei Mercatini di Natale nella cittadina trentina: viene presentato il progetto di recupero della Rimessa Locomotive di Primolano e del treno storico veneto.
Nei giorni 3 e 4 i soci di SVF saranno presenti per presentare il progetto ai visitatori della manifestazione.

SVF takes part to the Christmas Market “Villaggio delle Meraviglie” in Pergine, held in the week ends from Novemer 8th to January 8th 2012. The association is present with its own stand to the second edition of the Chrismas market in the Trentino town introducing the project of the recover/reuse of the Locomotive Shed and the heritage train of Veneto.
On December 3rd and 4th SVF fellows will be present to introduce the project to the happening attendance.
