Martedì 2 giugno sarà aperta al pubblico la ex-Cabina A di Padova, sede di SVF e ricevuta in comodato d’uso da RFI. I volontari SVF saranno a disposizione per domande, curiosità e spiegazioni.
L’accesso, dalle 9.30 alle 13.00, è da Via Frà Paolo Sarpi. Tutte le informazioni su come raggiungere la Cabina A sono disponibili qui.
Former “Cabina A” signal box, SVF venue on loan for use from RFI, will be open to the public visits on Tuesday June 2nd. SVF volunteers will be ready to answer to your question, give explanations and share curiosities.
Opening time is from 9:00 AN to 1.00 PM, the entraince is in Via Frà Paolo Sarpi, all the route informations to reach “Cabina A” are available here.
 Campo San Martino (PD) – Un altro tassello si aggiunge al progetto del treno storico nell’ambito dell’istituzione della Ferrovia Turistica della Valle del Brenta. È partita la notte del 18 maggio la carrozza Tipo 1936 a 2 assi, BI 50 83 24-20 200-3 di proprietà di SVF, sita a Campo San Martino (PD), in prossimità del Centro Commerciale “La Locomotiva”. Raggiungerà le officine della FD Costruzioni di Cancello ed Arnone (CE) nei prossimi giorni per essere sottoposta a completa revisione e restauro degli ambienti interni.

Domenica 19 aprile i partecipanti al Congresso annuale di FEDECRAIL (Federazione Europea Ferrovie Turistiche e Museali), che si è tenuto a Padova nel Centro Culturale San Gaetano nei due giorni precedenti, hanno raggiunto la stazione di Primolano, a bordo di un treno storico di Fondazione FS, composto dalla 740 293 e tre carrozze centoporte, manutenute da AVTS. Hanno quindi potuto visitare, in via del tutto eccezionale, il cantiere della Rimessa Locomotive verificando di persona lo stato d’avanzamento lavori del Progetto che era stato presentato il venerdì precedente durante i lavori dell’Assemblea. SVF ringrazia la Pro Loco di Primolano e i volontari ASP di Ferrovie Turistiche Italiane e del Gruppo Pocher di Trento che ci hanno coadiuvato durante la permanenza del treno nella ex-stazione di confine, fino alla partenza per Trento.

Sunday, April 19th 2015, the attendees to the yearly FEDECRAIL (European Federation of Museum & Tourist Railways) Congress, held in the “Centro Culturale San Gaetano” in Padua in the previous two days,
reached Primolano on a Fondazione FS heritage train consisting of the 740 293 locomotive and 3 “Centoporte” coaches mantained by AVTS. The attendees had the very exceptional opportunity to visit the Locomotive Shed construction site and to check by themselves the work progress of the project that was previously presented on Friday during the meeting. SVF wishes to thank Primolano Pro Loco and the volunteers from “Ferrovie Turistiche Itraliane” ASP and from the Trento “Gruppo Pocher” who helped us in the staying of the train in the former border station until its leave toward Trento.

Primolano, 4 aprile 2015 – Con un treno cantiere sono arrivate ieri a Primolano le rotaie necessarie al nuovo piano del ferro del piazzale della Rimessa Locomotive. Queste rotaie sono state rese necessarie per completare il rifacimento/ampliamento del p.d.f. e il collegamento di ingresso alla stazione. A breve inizieranno quindi anche i lavori al piazzale, dopo l’inizio di quelli alla Rimessa dei primi di marzo.
Primolano, Aprile 4th 2015 – The rails required to the new tracks for the Locomotive Shed yard arrived yesterday on a construction train. These tracks are required to complete the new yard with its link to the railway station track 1. Therefore, after the start of the Shed renovation in early of March, the work on the yard will start soon.
Proseguono i lavori sulla 880.001 presso la sede della Lucato Termica. Dopo i Controlli non Distruttivi, è ora la volta della Visita Interna, a cui seguirà la ritubatura della caldaia. Avanzano i lavori anche al telaio e agli elementi costitutivi dell’apparato motore. Nelle foto lo stato alla fine di febbraio.
Continues the overhauling of locomotive 880.001 in Lucato Termica Workshop. After the non-destructive testing, it is time for the boiler inspection and then the retubing. In the meanwhile the work on the chassis and the motor parts advance. The pictures show the work progress at the end of February.
 Questa settimana è stato aperto il cantiere per la ristrutturazione della Rimessa Locomotive di Primolano; la ditta SACE dell’ing. Bizzotto & C. ha iniziato i lavori alla struttura, installando le impalcature esterne. Un altro tassello si incastra, verso il compimento del progetto del Museo Ferroviario di Primolano e della Valbrenta. A breve dovrebbero iniziare anche i lavori al piano binari.
 The buildin yard for the Primolano Locomotive Shed renovation was opened this week; ing. Bizzotto’s SACE firm started the work on the structure by installing the scaffolding. Another pieces fits toward the completiond of the "Museo Ferroviario di Primolano e della Valbrenta”. The work on the tracks will begin soon.

Lo scorso 17 novembre la 880 001 è partita da Primolano per raggiungere la Lucato Termica di Castelletto Monferrato, per la Grande Revisione.

Proseguono i lavori sulla 880 001, questo lo stato durante il sopralluogo in officina del 20 dicembre, ormai quasi al termine lo spoglio.
